Pick’n and a Grin’n
Mike has really been missing playing his guitar. He went from practicing throughout the week for worship team and from bi-weekly practices and playing weekly in church to having nothing to play while here in Scotland. He has looked and looked to find a reasonably priced solid top guitar and after searching high and low has found the beauty that you see before you. Now we have tons of fun singing around the flat….it’s nice to have him playing again.
Proper Tea Time
For my birthday this year Mike gave me a cute little bone china mug that was decorated with winnie the pooh and filled with chocolate covered toffees. That gift was just a hint, however, of what the other part of the gift was to be, which was a proper tea in a tea room. We went to the Old Waverly Hotel and had scones, little sandwiches, fruit tarts, tortilla chips (didn’t know that was a tea snack)….and of course….tea. We had a brilliant time.
